A properly drafted will is the foundation of any estate plan. It ensures that upon your death your assets are protected and distributed appropriately and that your wishes are carried out.

Should you pass away without a valid will it will result in your estate being adminsiteredin terms of the Intestate Succession Act, Act 81 of 1987. This might lead to a distribution of your assets that might be not in the best interest of your loved ones.
